Music
For the first 18 years of my life, my goal in life was classical piano. I spent weekends and summers traveling to competitions and festivals.
Silver Medal performance, Fischoff Chamber Music Competition
Fischoff is the largest chamber music competition in the world. This is from our final round performance; I am joined by Brandon Leonard, cello, and Tobias Liu, violin. Other chamber music awards include WDAV 1st prize, Franklin Pond 1st prize (4 times), and Coltman finalists.

Recital, Bowdoin International Music Festival
Starting from middle school, I spent my summers studying with world-renowned music professors at classical music festivals across the world. Some of my favorite memories were made with Peter Takacs (Oberlin Conservatory), Ran Dank (Eastman School of Music) and Soyeon Kate Lee (Juilliard School), Fabio Bidini (Colburn Conservatory), Evelyne Brancart (Orford Music Academy) and more.

Piano Concerto, Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra
Finale Concert, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra
One of my favorite things as a soloist is playing with an orchestra. It's completely different from playing solo, and I've treasured every opportunity I've had. I soloed with my first orchestra at age 11 playing Haydn's D-major Piano Concerto, after winning the Ruth Kern Competition for my age group (11-14). And throughout my high school career, I served as the pianist for the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, the youth division of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
